About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

VVE Laadloket is an Amsterdam advisory firm for Dutch owners' associations (VvE's), an initiative of EVConsult and GoodPoint, that draws up charging plans and guides the selection of suppliers for charging infrastructure in VvE buildings. With its ERE service, a VvE receives a fee for every kWh charged at the charge points in its building. It is a joint service with Inboekers B.V.: VVE Laadloket is the point of contact and organises the process, Inboekers carries out the registration and certification and receives the legally required authorisations from the VvE, and sign-up runs through the Inboekers platform, which calls the service the VVE Laadloket of Inboekers. The service is meant for VvE's where the association or one of its members owns the electricity connection and whose charge points have a MID-certified meter. To sign up, the VvE supplies the EAN code of the connection, its Chamber of Commerce number and its charging platform; consumption is then read out automatically, checked and prepared for the audit. Settlement follows in the first quarter of the year after the charging year, with insight into the trade prices realised.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
