About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

Tamoil Nederland from Ridderkerk is a well-known fuel brand that has extended its business services with ERE registration. The contract can be cancelled flexibly and proceeds are paid out monthly — relatively fast compared with annual payers. Service costs of €4.95 per month apply; the commission percentage is not published. The offering is business-only and public ERE information is otherwise limited, so request the full cost picture before comparing.

Status on ERE-Vergelijk

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
