NXT Mobility

About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

Nxt Mobility from Heiloo unburdens employers with automatic registration, settlement and administrative handling of electric charging, including ERE registration. The service distinguishes business and private use via charge card or app, delivers clear reports, provides ongoing maintenance and support and can help with subsidy applications. ERE proceeds are paid out monthly. Rates are not fully published — request a proposal to compare. The offering is business-only. Participation requires a smart charger that can be read remotely.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
