About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

MKB Stadslogistiek is a niche specialist focusing on delivery services and logistics SMEs in the city. The company can monetise the charging volume of electric delivery and van fleets, supported by local network expertise. ERE rates and standard contracts are not published; services are arranged per client. For logistics entrepreneurs going electric, the combination of sector knowledge and ERE registration can be interesting — terms are available on request.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
