About us

Laadkompas supports individuals and businesses with the registration of Electricity Reduction Units (EREs) generated through electric vehicle charging. We combine ERE services with charge point management and myLaadkompas, where participants can manage their charge points, charging sessions and ERE registration. Charging data can be processed automatically through our charge point management service or submitted manually. We also guide participants through the required information, checks and documentation.

Message from the team

We aim to make participation in the ERE system clear and practical. Our team supports participants from the initial eligibility check and registration through to collecting charging data and completing the final ERE registration. Clear communication, transparent progress and careful data processing are central to our approach.

What does this earn?

A worked example at 2,500 kWh charged per year. That is roughly 832 ERE, at the calculation value of €0.4075 per ERE this site uses everywhere.

832 ERE × €0.4075€339.04
Market costs (1.5%)− €5.09
This provider’s commission (20%)− €66.79
Net per year€267.16

An estimate, not an offer: what you earn depends on your consumption, your meter readings and the price at the time of payout. The price used is published with its reference date and source on ERE price

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
