Auto-filled profile (draft)

Ere-registratie.nl from Amersfoort is a certified ERE registration specialist for both private and business customers. Signing up takes a few minutes and proceeds continue automatically for as long as you charge. Commission decreases with longer contracts: private from 27.5% (one year) to 22.5% (three years), business from 27.5% (one year) to 22.5% (five years); there are no separate service costs. Payout is quarterly. Tailored advice is available for large fleet managers. Rates at the upper end of the market and the absence of monthly payout are points to weigh when comparing.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
