Energy-Check

About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

Energy-Check works on a no cure, no pay basis: there is no upfront investment and the company only earns when there are ERE proceeds. The service arranges registration, booking and sale from A to Z and is also open to electric construction machinery and charge points behind a private connection. The mandate runs for three years, with annual verification and payout. The commission percentage is not published online. Energy-Check advertises yields of up to €0.26 per kWh; that is well above typical market indications, so ask for concrete substantiation during the intake.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
