About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

Den Hartog is an established name from the fuel sector with decades of experience, offering ERE registration for charge points from its base in Groot-Ammers. Private and business customers choose contracts of one, three or five years with commissions of 25%, 20% and 15% respectively. Payout frequency is partly by choice; for business customers payout is annual. Den Hartog can also install a MID-certified charge point if desired and helps with legal and fiscal arrangements. The combination with traditional fuel cards makes the offering especially practical for fleets running diesel and electric side by side.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
