AVIA VOLT

About us

Auto-filled profile (draft)

AVIA VOLT is the charging and ERE offering within the national AVIA network of independent fuel traders. Business charge-point owners can use it for ERE registration, with — according to the provider — no start-up or service costs; the commission rate is not published. ERE proceeds are paid out annually and the contract can be cancelled flexibly. The offering is business-only — there is no private home-charging solution — and public product information is limited. Participation requires a smart charger that can be read remotely; terms are arranged via a personal quote.

Status on ERE-Vergelijk

AVIA VOLT was on the final list of booking service providers the NEa published (version of 7 Aug 2026) and is included in our provider overview. The NEa has not published a list since October 2026.

Not in the comparison

The NEa register is broader than our comparison: it also holds parties that only book fuels or have no offering for charge-point owners. No offering from AVIA VOLT is in our comparison yet.

Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs. Whether your charging station must also be connected (OCPP, app or cloud) is up to the provider: the NEa only requires that the link with your charging station can be demonstrated — a photo of just a kWh reading is not enough.

A MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory

For ERE registration a MID meter built into the charging station is mandatory (NEa). The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume; without a MID meter the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
