About us

Xolvere is an accredited booking service provider for ERE certificates, registered with the NEa, serving private individuals, business drivers and partners. The renewable electricity charged at a charging station is converted into Emission Reduction Units. According to its own website, this can earn up to € 450 per year, with a commission from 20% and lower rates on a 3- or 5-year contract.

Xolvere was founded by three entrepreneurs who, together with charging station vendors, electricians, owners’ associations, fleet owners, leasing companies and CPOs, want to create something new: an independent, compliant and service-oriented solution that takes the hassle out of the process. Smart charger & MID meter

What is a smart charger?

A smart charger is a charging station that is connected to the internet and can automatically record and report your charging sessions to the provider. This lets the provider see exactly how many kWh were charged and when, and — for some services — steer the charging moment to take advantage of green electricity or lower tariffs.

A MID meter is almost always required

Regardless of whether the charger is smart or not, an MID-certified meter is almost always required for ERE. The MID meter provides an accurate, legally valid record of the charged volume. Without an MID meter, the kWh cannot be converted into ERE units. The only exception the NEa names is an exclusive allocation point set up by your grid operator, behind which only the charger draws power — rare for home chargers.
