Our register lists 5 charge points from Webasto: 2 with a built-in MID meter and 3 without a MID meter.
Webasto is a German family-owned company, active since 1901, that makes roof, thermo and battery systems for vehicles. The Pure, Next, Live and Unite charging stations, with the Webasto ChargeConnect platform, belong to Webasto's charging division. On 7 February 2024 Webasto signed an agreement under which Transom Capital Group acquires a majority stake in that division; Webasto remains a minority shareholder.

Dynamic load balancing and solar charging often need a separate meter, sensor or licence.
Simple home charging station without an integrated kWh or MID meter.
Basic wallbox with a key switch: Webasto’s Pure II datasheets (11 and 22 kW) list no energy meter and no MID certification — not ERE-eligible. A separate MID meter in the meter cabinet does not count as integrated.

Has an integrated meter module for session logging, but it is not MID-certified (no EN 50470 listing) — not ERE-eligible. Within Webasto the Unite and the Live carry a MID meter.

Integrated MID-compliant meter (class B, EN 50470-1/-3) with a reading window; the type designation contains "MID" (e.g. Unite AC22 SW 0 MID SH). The German version with "EICH" in the designation has a meter certified under German calibration law.
