Our register lists 12 charge points from Mennekes: 2 with a built-in MID meter, 5 where it depends on the version and 5 without a MID meter.
MENNEKES Elektrotechnik is a German manufacturer based in Kirchhundem (Sauerland), founded in 1935 and family-owned for more than 80 years. It makes plugs and sockets and charging solutions for electric vehicles: AMTRON wallboxes for home and business use, and AMEDIO charging stations.
Dynamic load balancing and solar charging often need a separate meter, sensor or licence.
Built-in MID-certified kWh meter, side-readable. Per Mennekes this applies to the whole Professional series, including the Professional+ with built-in modem.
Mind the model numbers: within the 4You family only the 4You 460 and 4You 560 have a built-in, externally readable MID meter, and per Mennekes it is MID-compliant only on a three-phase connection. The 4You 410 and 510 have no MID meter. Check the model number on the type plate (460 or 560) and whether your charger is connected three-phase.
The AMTRON 4You 410 and 510 have no MID-certified kWh meter — not ERE-eligible. The versions with a MID meter are the 4You 460 and 560. In doubt? Check the model number on the type plate.
The entry models AMTRON 4You 110 (100 series) and 310 (300 series) have no built-in MID meter — not ERE-eligible. Within the 4You family only the 460 and 560 have a MID meter.

Per the Mennekes datasheets the Xtra 22 C2 (1344202) and Premium 22 C2 (1345202) have an externally readable calibrated meter (MID-compliant); for the EU versions (Xtra E/R, Premium E/R/W) MID is not documented. Look through the window for a MID marking (M and EN 50470-3) on the meter, or ask your installer.
EU versions of the older AMTRON Start and Standard, without an energy meter — not ERE-eligible. In the same series only the Basic E and Basic R have a calibrated meter.
EU versions of the older AMTRON Basic with a calibrated, externally readable digital energy meter (MID-compliant per Mennekes). The Start E and Standard E from the same series have no meter.
